I create handcrafted wooden lamps and candle holders inspired by geometry, movement and stillness.

 

 

Lamps and candle holders

My table lamps combine shades constructed from wooden spatulas with hardwood bases. Both painted and unpainted versions are available upon request.

Alongside the larger table lamps, I make smaller wooden lamps and handcrafted candle holders. Their wooden spiral structures echo the same flowing movement, each bringing its own play of light and shadow.

Each candle holder includes a glass insert for the tealight, helping to protect the surrounding wood from direct contact with the flame.

Workshops — make your own lamp

Would you like to make a light object of your own?

I am available to give creative workshops in which participants build their own small wooden lamp. Step by step, simple wooden elements come together to form a geometric structure.

The inspiration behind the shapes

For me, the vertical helix suggests an upward and downward motion, centred around a quiet axis. It reflects an experience of stillness in which movement and balance exist together.

Along the spine, inner movement can be experienced as a spiral — a living helix connecting groundedness and openness. In deep states of observation or meditation, this can become a tangible experience.

The image of that inner movement gradually translated into form.
It became a lamp.

The shapes, materials and light are chosen to evoke calm and subtle presence — a reminder to remain grounded, centred, and to simply just be.
